SEO and the Marketing Process

I want to review the advantages of SEO and how search marketing consultants play a part in the overall marketing process. The web itself is a relatively new marketing tool for companies. Companies are now seeing how strong a role SEO can play in their marketing plans. As a SEO consultant, I look for the ways to promote company products through blogs and other postings. The links that are included provide an avenue to customer’s web sites and product information. SEO and marketing play an important roll together.

A large number of clicks on a particular link will led to a better ranking in a particular search engine. Companies through product information, specifications and company information can entice “clicks throughs” that taken together will increase the all-important SEO for that  company. As a result, a SEO consultant can be as important to a company’s marketing effort as sales reps, CMO’s and other marketing personnel such as advertising executives. In some instances the explosive growth of the internet had made SEO consulting all that more important. A company due to competition and the nature of business, needs to achieve search optimization as a primary goal. An effective SEO consultant will realize this and strategically place company product information in blogs and other internet marketing instruments. A SEO consultant will tie in marketing efforts to create a message about products or services  via links that will increase SEO. This will, in turn, hopefully maximize company SEO over time. The idea is to create more site hits  and move up the search ladder. An effective SEO consultant knows how to attract eyeballs, and then generate clicks which will eventually lead to a greater SEO for the company. The SEO marketing consultant now and in the future will be an important cog in the overall marketing process.
